I will be hosting my 6th annual conducting seminar in Scotland with the very talented Bathgate Band. The focus this year with be
‘Land of the Long White Cloud’ by Philip Sparke , then concert repertoire to be announced at a later date for the final concert on the Sunday night. As always there will be a friendly atmosphere while we discuss baton techniques, and rehearsal techniques mixed in with video reviews and score reading previews.
This year there is a new foundation course set up aiming at new and young conductors. I am delighted to welcome the talented conductor and teacher Stuart Black, who will lead this course, with the help of the Bathgate youth Band.
